SHIROKKO is not mail-order-service number 10000, but a real CD store. We want to offer our knowledge and
enthusiasm to guide you through the music of the world. We think
this is most important as the CD market is getting more complex every day.
We offer you a fine selection of
interesting music - from pure ethnic sounds to popular music - not to
forget our special repertoire of modern trends as to mention the
collections like Buddha Bar, Hotel Costes...
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
There are lots of interesting sounds all around the world. You only
have to discover them. Many of our customers are looking for
"new" and interesting sounds - sometimes without knowing how
to find them. We help you to find these sounds. Who knows - maybe we
carry the music you have been looking for?
We prefer real Virtuosity, not
virtual reality
The internet
supplies all possible kinds of informations, but: you have
to know exactly what you are searching for. In the age of increasing virtual reality our main efforts are to serve you in a personal way.
We offer you informations, our own reviews of many CDs, newslists, charts etc.
Althoug the internet is a real helpful medium, we prefer the personal
contact to our customers.

You can't always get what you want
Frequent internet users know that there are thousands of CDs presented
in the net. But what users can do: order CDs from everywhere,
unfortunately is very difficult for us. We have to care about licensing
problems - so we are not allowed to import all CDs. But we think our
program is very attractive!
E-commerce
Many online
offers are pure commercial, users are attracted by advertisements, banners
and links.
We want to supply
fair and independent informations.
As we are a small shop, we will never
be the cheapest or fastest - but we think we are very pretty good.
Some technical information
To avoid
net-users most annoying problems - endless time for downloading, extensive
use of gimmicks etc., we intentionally chose a clear design for our website.
Our website can be viewed with small monitors and with any browser. We use the
verdana-font
